Bray Parish Neighbourhood Plan

Bray Parish Neighbourhood Plan

Giving us all a stronger say in protecting and shaping future development in our parish.

What is the Bray Parish Neighbourhood Plan?

Once adopted, a Neighbourhood Plan for our parish will have legal weight as part of the development plan used to decide planning applications. Our Plan will represent the various communities and places of our diverse parish - from the countryside to the neighbourhoods, hamlets and villages across the parish including Bray, Holyport, Harvest Hill, Dedworth West, Bray Wick (part), Water Oakley, Oakley Green, Moneyrow Green, Stud Green, Foxley Green, Touchen End, Braywoodside and Hawthorn Hill.

Why should it matter to you?

Bray Parish is facing real development pressure, so there's never been a more important time to get this right. The Plan will be used in planning decisions, so it needs to reflect residents' priorities. It's your chance to help shape development from the start — not just object to, or support, applications once they're already submitted.

How can you get involved?

There'll be lots of ways to get involved — the Steering Group, workshops, drop-in events and surveys. Every draft goes out for public comment, and the Plan only goes ahead if residents vote for it at referendum. Whether you've got two minutes or two hours, we want to hear from you.
